What Do Men Want?

 

What men want is a question women have been asking themselves for centuries. They truly are an entirely different beast. They think differently, communicate differently, feel differently, and sometimes they seem impossible to read. So what do men want, and how are you supposed to figure it out?

Men Want What They Can't Get

It isn't new information to tell you that what men want is to capture a woman they didn't think they can get. Most women think this simply means getting her to have sex with him, and for some men that is all they want. But for the majority of men it means something more than that. When a man thinks of capturing a woman what excites him the most is being able to get her to surrender to him. Even further, it isn't just any woman whom he wants to conquer. The woman nearly every man can't resist is the one who actually likes herself. This doesn't mean that she's really, really confident or perfect. No, those qualities actually indicate that she is more likely to be insecure.

Men Don't Want To Have To Prove Things To A Woman

The woman who likes herself has taken a look inside her heart. She's aware of her insecurities and fears and understands what things a man can do to make her happy versus the things that only she can do for herself. Here's an example - Imagine a woman constantly doubts her appearance. Not when she's dressed up or looking her best, but in her day to day activities. She wants her man to reassure her that she is desirable to him. Even though she doesn't asks for this reassurance, he occasionally tells her how beautiful she looks. She shrugs and simply says, "Thanks." Even though she did acknowledge his compliment, her tone and body language indicate that she doesn't believe him. She likes what he said but her response indicates that she doesn't trust his words. In fact if you look inside her heart, deep down inside, you'll find that she actually doesn't believe she's beautiful. Because she doesn't believe this, no man will be able to convince her of this fact. Memorize this saying, "A man cannot convince a woman of what she does not already believe about herself." She may want him to try and convince or reassure her, but over time he'll get tired and simply quit.

The Woman Who Is Easy To Please

What he wants instead is a woman that has enough insight to know what her insecurities are and take responsibility for them. Just because she doesn't "feel" something doesn't mean it isn't true. She may feel unattractive and yet he may find her quite appealing. Remember this - Trust a man's compliment. Notice I didn't say a bribe. If he says, "Baby you look great...let's have sex," even though he might be quite sincere it's easy to question his motives with such a statement. However, when he gives a compliment, one of the most captivating things a woman can do is accept the compliment, even though she has her doubts. Rejecting or minimizing his compliment isn't being humble, it's refusing his gift because that's what a compliment is to a man - a gift. A woman that accepts compliment easily will make a man feel that she is easy to please.
